Morning take: Rex Ryan's job security

Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC East: Morning take: Ryan is confident that he is a good coach, and I agree. However, no coach is above being fired if the team underperforms. Ryan must win consistently like everyone else. He must get back to his winning ways this season.
Morning take: Yes, it is. That is the most important position on the field, and it only takes one hit to change the fortunes of the position -- and the team. But New England is willing to take that chance for now.
Morning take: This is interesting for two reasons. First, it means Buffalo needs someone else to copy Tim Tebow in the Wildcat during practice this week. Second, if Smith can't play, Buffalo may not care to run the Wildcat on Sunday.
Morning take: Armstrong has speed, and that's a component needed on offense. But it doesn't appear Miami is done adding players. The Dolphins reportedly worked out Jabar Gaffney on Monday, as well.
