Revisiting Patriots' first five games
By James Walker
The New England Patriots are on the top of the mountain in the AFC and AFC East. The Patriots are coming off a Super Bowl appearance and can show they are a title contender once again with another fast start.
Here is a look at New England’s first five games:
- Week 1: at Tennessee
- Week 2: vs. Arizona
- Week 3: at Baltimore
- Week 4: at Buffalo
- Week 5: vs. Denver
The Patriots have the easiest strength of schedule in the NFL. But this is not a cakewalk for the first five games by any means. Three of New England’s first four games are on the road and it comes against two teams with winning records from a year ago (Tennessee and Baltimore). The Bills beat New England last year at Ralph Wilson Stadium as well. The Denver game against Peyton Manning is a tough game, too. Fortunately for the Patriots, they are a juggernaut. A lesser team would struggle, but New England has the talent to come out of these five games in good shape.
What record do you predict for New England after five games?
