AFC East Poll: Jets at Dolphins
By James Walker
We have an intriguing AFC East matchup involving a pair of .500 teams Sunday when the New York Jets travel to play the Miami Dolphins. This is a rematch of last season's finale, when the Jets unraveled at Sun Life Stadium in the third loss of their ending three-game skid.
In our latest AFC East poll, we want to know if history will repeat itself. Will the Dolphins pound the Jets again and send them to a 1-2 start? The Dolphins have been a tough matchup for the Jets in recent years. Miami has a young team, but there is some momentum after a 35-13 victory over the Oakland Raiders.
Or will the Jets impose their will on a rebuilding Miami squad? New York offensive coordinator Tony Sparano makes his return to Miami and doesn’t want to leave with a loss. Will this provide some extra motivation for the Jets? It’s important for New York to bounce back from Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
I’m holding my prediction until later in the week. But now it’s your turn. Using our SportsNation poll, vote on the winner of Sunday’s game between the Jets and Dolphins. You can share your comments and score predictions in the comment section below.
