Morning take: Fred Jackson and knee brace

By James Walker

Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC East: Morning take: The Bills need Jackson with C.J. Spiller out. Jackson won't be 100 percent, but he's a threat the Patriots must account for.
Morning take: This is Dowling’s second year and he’s struggling. The Patriots need playmakers in their secondary and Dowling hasn't been one. He's leaning closer to future bust than future star.
Morning take: Revis wants a new contract now, but his season-ending knee injury probably changes that. Revis won't be happy playing out his final year, and that could lead to him bolting in 2014.
Morning take: As expected, veterans Devone Bess and Brian Hartline have stepped into starting roles. But no one has filled into the slot role, which is important in a West Coast offense.
