QBR: Brady shines, Sanchez flops
By James Walker
The AFC East didn't perform well in Week 4. The teams went a combined 1-3 and we now have a three-way tie for first place in the division.
The record was reflected in most of the quarterback performances. Tom Brady of the New England Patriots was the only winning quarterback and thus had this week’s top Total Quarterback Rating.
Brady led the NFL in Week 4 with a 96.5 QBR. He had an easy day as New England pummeled the Buffalo Bills 52-28. Brady had the luxury of two 100-yard rushers and two 100-yard receivers. Brady threw for 340 yards and three touchdowns.
Here is the full list of QBRs for the AFC East:
Sanchez had the worst QBR in the league this past weekend. He was horrendous in a 34-0 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Fitzpatrick was streaky as usual. He threw for four touchdowns but also threw four interceptions. Tannehill had a career-best performance but it came in a losing effort to the Arizona Cardinals. Tannehill threw for 431 yards but had a costly interception in overtime that lost the game.
