Can Bills survive next five games?
By James Walker
The Buffalo Bills are 2-2 after four games. But they are now entering their toughest stretch of the season.
Buffalo has a murderers' row of opponents coming up. It starts Sunday with a road game against the physical and rugged San Francisco 49ers.
Here is a look at the Bills' next five games:
- Oct. 7: at San Francisco (3-1)
- Oct. 14: at Arizona (4-0)
- Oct. 21: vs. Tennessee (1-3)
- Nov. 4: at Houston (4-0)
- Nov. 11: at New England (2-2)
Can the Bills survive this stretch? They have playoff aspirations this year. But in order to reach that goal, the Bills must come out of this stretch with a respectable record.
The Bills know what it’s like for things to go downhill. Buffalo started fast in 2011 but lost eight of its last nine.
This is the type of slate that will define Buffalo's 2012. Head coach Chan Gailey questioned the team's toughness this week and we will find out where Buffalo stands in that department.
Will the Bills respond?
