Poll: Second best in AFC East?
By James Walker
I've been hearing rumblings all week in the AFC East blog and my Twitter account. There's been a heated debate in our community, and we're going to settle it.
The question: Who is currently the second-best team in the AFC East?
We have a three-way tie for second place. The Miami Dolphins (2-3), New York Jets (2-3) and Buffalo Bills (2-3) can all claim to the No. 2 spot in the division.
Are the Dolphins the second-best team in the AFC East? They’re certainly the most consistent. Miami has been in four of its five games this season but was only able to pull out two victories. The defense is playing well and rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill continues to develop.
What about the Jets? New York is 2-0 in the division, which includes wins over Miami and Buffalo. It’s a legit argument that the Jets are No. 2 behind the Patriots after beating the other two teams. The Jets are shaky but taking care of business in the AFC East.
Finally, we have the Bills. Buffalo has suffered big losses in back-to-back weeks. Can the Bills regain their swagger and become the second-best team in the division?
