Dolphins' Pouncey: Aaron Maybin 'a joke'

By James Walker

The war of words is getting ugly between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets. It started Wednesday between Jets coach Rex Ryan, LaRon Landry and others with comments made earlier by Dolphins tailback Reggie Bush.

Jets backup defensive end Aaron Maybin joined into the fray, saying telling reporters New York will kick the Dolphins’ tails legally. On Thursday, Dolphins center Mike Pouncey responded to Maybin with some harsh words.

"I don't even want to talk about him. He's a joke." Pouncey said of Maybin, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

But Pouncey didn’t stop talking about Maybin. Pouncey kept prodding with more harsh words.

"I have to be on punt block to say something to him," Pouncey said. "He's not even going to play enough plays to touch Reggie.”

Ouch!

The trash talking between the Jets and Dolphins is getting interesting. Both teams know this is a big game that will have a lot to do with the direction of their seasons.
