QBR: Matt Moore steps up
By James Walker
The Miami Dolphins have a rare luxury. They have a veteran quarterback who is a proven winner.
Dolphins backup Matt Moore improved to 7-3 in his previous 10 games where he started or played most of the contest. Moore replaced injured rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill in the first quarter and played efficient football. His performance led Miami to a 30-9 win over the rival New York Jets in a big game.
Moore had a respectable QBR of 67.6, which is solid for a quarterback who hasn’t played all season and gets few reps in practice.
Here are the QBR ratings for the entire AFC East:
Brady had a near-perfect game where he threw for 304 yards and four touchdowns. New England crushed the St. Louis Rams, 45-7.
Sanchez threw for 283 yards and one touchdown but had two turnovers. Sanchez fumbled and threw an interception in a loss to the Dolphins.
