AFC East midseason drop count

By James Walker

Who’s catching passes and who’s dropping them in the AFC East?

There have been 59 dropped passes thus far in the division, and a majority of them have come from the New England Patriots and New York Jets.

Here is the midseason drop count, according to ESPN Stats & Information:
The Patriots' drops have come mostly from Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski (five) and receiver Brandon Lloyd (five). This duo combined for more than half of New England’s team drops. Patriots receiver Wes Welker has four drops.

New York’s issue with drops is more spread out. Rookie receiver Stephen Hill and tight end Jeff Cumberland are tied for the team lead with three drops.
