Walker's AFC East picks
By James Walker
We have another Thursday night showdown in the division. Therefore, the AFC East blog must continue its stellar (wink, wink) picks early for Week 12.
There is an interesting series of games that can go either way. But we’ve been hot all season -- amassing a 25-8 record -- so there is no fear with our predictions.
Let’s get to it.
New England Patriots (7-3) at New York Jets (4-6), Thursday at 8:20 p.m. ET
Skinny: If the Jets are ever going to catch the Patriots this year, this is the time to do it. No Rob Gronkowski, a short week and a home game all favors New York. However, New England just has too many horses.
Pick: Patriots, 30-20
Buffalo Bills (4-6) at Indianapolis Colts (6-4), Sunday at 1 p.m. ET
Skinny: The Colts looked terrible on Sunday against New England. But Andrew Luck & Co. are a much better team at home in a dome and will be motivated to bounce back. Buffalo will fight hard but can’t pull this one out.
Pick: Colts, 28-24
Miami Dolphins (4-6) at Seattle Seahawks (6-4), Sunday at 1 p.m. ET
Skinny: I have a sneaky suspicion this is going to be a tougher game than expected. Seattle is a solid team and a playoff contender. But the Seahawks are traveling across the country and have a rookie quarterback. Miami shows up this week but it won't be enough.
Pick: Seahawks, 20-17
Last week: 2-1
Comment: Happy Thanksgiving to our AFC East community.
