Morning take: Jets a confident underdog
By James Walker
Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC East:
Morning take: The Jets have played well enough against New England to feel good at home. This could be an upset if the Patriots don’t bring their best effort and focus. The 4-6 Jets will be desperate for a win.
- The New York Jets are a confident underdog heading into their Thanksgiving game against the New England Patriots.
Morning take: Gronkowski was hurt on special teams, not offense, and that’s the distinction where critics are missing the point. Many coaches would not change their special teams rotation regardless of the score.
Morning take: Moore has been impressive in limited playing time this season. Injuries to Chris Kelsay and Mark Anderson have opened the door for Moore to prove himself, and he’s played well in the past two starts.
Morning take: Miami couldn’t get enough from Gaffney to keep him on the roster. The Dolphins claimed Kyle Miller off waivers to add depth at tight end instead.
