Morning take: Will Tannehill perform?
By James Walker
Here are the most interesting stories Sunday in the AFC East:
Morning take: Tannehill has hit the rookie wall, but he still has four more games left to finish strong. Tannehill has a tough draw today against the San Francisco 49ers defense.
- New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow will be a game-time decision against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Morning take: If Tebow plays, he will be the No. 2 quarterback. The Jets will be able to utilize the Wildcat package, which provides another option.
- Buffalo Bills general manager Buddy Nix says a first-round quarterback is not set in stone.
Morning take: Nix has been doing a lot of talk about quarterbacks lately. That’s not a good sign if you’re starter Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Bills know that Fitzpatrick is not the long-term solution and must go in another direction sooner than later.
Morning take: With Julian Edelman on injured reserve, my vote is for Wes Welker. The only concern would be the heavy workload he already has on offense.
