QBR: Ryan Tannehill beats Tom Brady
By James Walker
The best Total Quarterback Rating in the division for Week 15 goes to the rookie. Miami Dolphins first-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill posted an impressive 90.3 score in a 24-3 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Tannehill had perhaps his most efficient game of the season. He completed 22 of 28 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns. Tannehill also was a threat with his feet. He rushed for a career-high 52 yards.
Here are the QBR scores for the AFC East in Week 15:
Brady threw an astounding 65 times in a loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He had 443 yards but did not get hot until the second half. Brady also had one touchdown and two interceptions.
Fitzpatrick had three turnovers (two interceptions, one fumble) in a 50-17 blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks. New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has a chance to post a good rating against the Tennessee Titans on "Monday Night Football." But chances are, Sanchez will not beat Tannehill's rating for the week.
