Jets have injury concerns
By James Walker
The New York Jets were not only beaten by the San Diego Chargers – they were beaten up. As a result, New York will travel to face the Buffalo Bills with several injury concerns.
The biggest injury is to starting defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson, who is having a strong second half of the season. Jets head coach Rex Ryan told New York reporters Wilkerson is suffering from a concussion and a knee injury. Therefore, it might be tough for Wilkerson to play in the regular-season finale.
New York (6-9) starting quarterback Greg McElroy also suffered an abdomen injury against the Chargers. He was sacked 11 times, so it is no surprise he left the game with some ailment. But McElroy practiced on Wednesday and is expected to make his second career start against the Bills (5-10).
