Morning take: Bills add assistants
By James Walker
Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC East:
Morning take: The Bills' staff will have a Syracuse and New York Jets feel to it. Those are the two places where new Bills head coach Doug Marrone filled out most of his staff.
- The Buffalo Bills have announced the hires of 10 assistant coaches, including four from Syracuse University.
Morning take: I'm not sure if this is good news or bad news. Gronkowski was healed from the initial break, which means technically he didn't come back too soon. But Gronkowski suffered a break in another part of his arm.
- Tom Curran of Comcast Sports Net in New England reports Patriots Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski broke the same left arm but in a different spot.
Morning take: Denney joins defensive end Cameron Wake as the two Pro Bowlers representing the Dolphins. He's done a solid job in Miami and is getting recognition.
- Miami Dolphins long snapper John Denney was added to the AFC Pro Bowl team by the coaches.
Morning take: Tebow may get an opportunity somewhere via injury. But no team is willing to build around Tebow as a franchise quarterback. A position change is the best way for Tebow to prolong his NFL career.
- Former Super Bowl wining quarterback Phil Simms doubts New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow will "ever be a starter."
