Morning take: Tom Brady fined $10K

By James Walker

Here are the most interesting stories Thursday in the AFC East: Morning take: This was the right call by the league. Brady has slid plenty of times in his career and should know not to lift his leg. That could have caused an injury, and Brady later apologized for it.
Morning take: That would not be surprising. Miami knows better than any team that Long’s play has been on the decline for two years. I doubt the Dolphins will make him the highest-paid left tackle in the NFL.
Morning take: These are all areas of need for Buffalo. But the Bills can’t do much next season without a quarterback. Ryan Fitzpatrick is not the answer, so Buffalo must find its long-term solution.
Morning take: The Jets need to score points next season. New York has enough of a circus going on already that the Jets don’t need to take on the extra attention with Te'o.
