Morning take: Mark Sanchez update

Morning take: Sanchez is a hard worker and will not get discouraged. This is the time for Sanchez to get a leg up on the rookie before their competition in training camp.
- New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez will continue his participation in offseason workouts despite the pick of rookie quarterback Geno Smith and uncertainty over whether Sanchez will remain with the team.
Morning take: Jordan would have reunited with Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, but the Dolphins traded up to get their guy. The Eagles ended up with left tackle Lane Johnson, which also was a big need for Miami.
- The Philadelphia Eagles were very interested in drafting Miami Dolphins rookie defensive end Dion Jordan at No. 4.
Morning take: New England got solid value in a trade with the Minnesota Vikings, and Field Yates of ESPNBoston.com reports Patterson didn’t fit New England's offense. The Patriots drafted receiver Aaron Dobson in the second round and hope he can be more productive.

Morning take: Buffalo's draft class will be defined by the first-round pick of quarterback EJ Manuel. It was a controversial pick that many feel was a reach. Manuel must turn out to be a franchise quarterback to prove the critics wrong.
