By James Walker
Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC East:
Morning take: Amendola will have to prove to a lot of people around the league that he can stay healthy this year. He's played just 12 games in the past two seasons. The Patriots are counting on Amendola to play much more than that.
- Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark described New England Patriots receiver Danny Amendola as "fragile" due to his lengthy injury history.
Morning take: Dustin Keller isn't much of a blocker and backup tight end Michael Egnew is even worse. Sims has a lot of size and could get a role early as the blocking tight end.
- Miami Dolphins rookie tight end Dion Sims could be key next season due to his size.
Morning take: Hopkins will have tough, veteran competition against Rian Lindell. It's going to take a near-perfect training camp, but Hopkins comes to Buffalo with strong credentials.
- Buffalo Bills rookie kicker Dustin Hopkins is working on his craft in order to compete for the job this summer.
Morning take: Assistant director of player personnel Jojo Wooden is heading to the San Diego Chargers. It's a good move considering new Jets general manager John Idzik will be looking to bring in more of his own people now that the draft is over.
- The New York Jets lost one more member of the front office who was under former general manager Mike Tannenbaum.
