Morning take: Julian Edelman injured again
By James Walker
Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC East:
Morning take: The injury woes continue for New England's offense. This is the same foot that ended Edelman’s 2012 season. He joins tight ends Rob Gronkowski (arm) and Aaron Hernandez (shoulder) as Patriots on the mend.
- New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman is back in a walking boot after re-injuring his right foot.
Morning take: I prefer the word "circus," but you get the point. The Jets were a bad football team. New general manager John Idzik has a big task ahead.
- Former Super Bowl-winning coach Mike Ditka says the New York Jets were a "joke" last season.
Morning take: Any rookie free agent faces long odds, but Kovacs is playing the right position. Safety depth has been an issue in Miami and Kovacs has a chance to fill one of those backup roles.
Morning take: I agree. The Bills took a quarterback who most did not expect to go in the first round. Manuel has a lot of tools to work with, but he must develop. This pick also has a lot at stake for new Bills head coach Doug Marrone.
