Morning take: Can Dolphins win AFC East?

By James Walker

Here are the most interesting stories Monday in the AFC East: Morning take: The Dolphins have had a quiet and workmanlike offseason, while the Patriots' offseason has been messy. However, quarterback Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick have ruled the division for so long that they remain preseason favorites.
Morning take: Lloyd was released earlier this offseason because the Patriots felt he wasn’t worth the money he was due this year. Unless they can get Lloyd at a bargain-basement rate, I don’t see why there would be a reunion.
Morning take: Even former players can make homer predictions. The Jets need everything to go perfect for this talent-thin group to finish with 11 wins. I'd like to see Mickens' rationale for this prediction.
Morning take: The defense is ahead of the offense at this stage. So that’s important to note. Training camp will be an important time to get all units in sync for an important Week 1 matchup against New England.
