Practice report: Getting healthy
By Matt Ehalt
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- As Rex Ryan said on Wednesday, the Jets appear to be healthy heading into Sunday's game against Buffalo.
Linebacker Quinton Coples (ankle), wide receiver Jeremy Kerley (concussion) and running back Bilal Powell (illness/shoulder) were all working during the portion of practice open to the media on Thursday.
Coples had his first official practice on Wednesday as he returned from a hairline fracture on his right ankle and the corresponding surgery. He was limited on Wednesday, and is uncertain whether he'll play this weekend.
Kerley returned to practice on Wednesday after being cleared by the medical staff. Kerley suffered a concussion and missed last Thursday's game against New England. He had a full practice Wednesday.
Powell missed Wednesday's practice with an illness. Powell leads the Jets with 77 rushing yards and has rushed for a score.
Tight end Kellen Winslow (knee) was also working during the open portion. He was limited Wednesday.
