Miami morning take: Steelers or Dolphins?

By James Walker

Here are the most interesting Miami Dolphins stories Thursday from around the web: Morning take: Miami hasn’t won in Pittsburgh since 1990. It’s been 23 years, and the Dolphins desperately need this game to remain in playoff contention.
Morning take: Vernon is the hot name after registering three sacks in last week’s win over the New York Jets. Vernon also leads Miami with 10.5 sacks. But Wake has done it for a long time and is a big reason for Vernon’s success.
Morning take: Teams can no longer focus only on Wake. Double-teams will be harder to come by if Vernon continues to beat his man on the other side.
Morning take: Jerry must pass all of the concussion procedures in order to get back on the field Sunday. If not, backup Sam Brenner will start in Pittsburgh.
