NFLN survey/feared player: Dolphins

By James Walker

ESPN.com's NFL Nation collected anonymous player surveys from all 32 teams during the season, including the Miami Dolphins. The first of several results was posted on Thursday for the most feared player in the league.

Two Detroit Lions got the most votes: defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh (19 percent) and receiver Calvin Johnson (18.1 percent). What is interesting is they received votes for different reasons.

Suh is an intimidating presence on Detroit's defense. He also has a mean streak, which included several instances in which he made questionable plays after the whistle. That impacted his reputation as a dirty player. Johnson is feared due to his playmaking ability.

One of the top vote-getters who had recent success against the Dolphins is Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, who came in third with 7.5 percent of the vote.

Here are the top vote-getters for the NFL's most-feared player:
No Dolphins player made the cut.
