MIAMI -- Oakland Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell is back in, but with a little less than eight minutes left in the first half, cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha took himself out of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins with an apparent left hand or wrist injury.
Asomugha was hunched over in pain as trainers worked on him, but he might return. He didn't go in for X-rays. He has been taped up and flexing his hand while watching the offense work.
Asomugha is having a Pro Bowl-caliber season and has been a rare bright spot for the lowly Raiders.
