T.O. laments not having better QBs

Buffalo Bills free agent receiver Terrell Owens proclaims his numbers would be comparable to Jerry Rice's if he had better quarterbacks throughout his career.

"I know hands-down I'd be close to Jerry Rice's records if I had been with quality quarterbacks like he had," Owens told USA Today. "He had Joe Montana, and he finished with Steve Young. That wasn't a dropoff.

"Say I had been with a guy like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Drew Brees all of my career. Are you kidding me?"

What? Trent Edwards wasn't good enough for him?

Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic discussed Owens' comments on Friday morning's edition of "Mike & Mike."

Both agree that although Owens made many regrettable decisions in the way he interacted with his quarterbacks, his stats did suffer, whereas Montana and Young drove Rice's numbers.
