Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday morning in the AFC East:
The New York Jets reportedly are interested in rugby star Hayden Smith to play tight end.
Morning take: If you ever seen rugby, you know the game and physicality translates very well to football. Smith also is 6-foot-7, which provides a big target.
New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes has a healthy outlook.
Morning take: This is great news for the Patriots, because their defense was different when Spikes was in the lineup. Spikes has a high ceiling if he stays healthy.
Here is more on the Buffalo Bills and former Iowa offensive tackle Riley Reiff.
Morning take: Is Reiff a top-10 pick? That’s debatable. But Reiff does fit Buffalo’s need, which makes him an option. The only thing that maters is where Reiff is on Buffalo’s draft board.
The Miami Dolphins hosted a visit with former Washington Redskins linebacker Rocky McIntosh.
Morning take: McIntosh is a solid player and former star at the University of Miami. But does Miami have enough cap space to sign more free agents.
