Here are the most interesting stories Friday in the AFC North:

  • Cleveland Browns president Mike Holmgren said he's not worried about the Philadelphia Eagles eventually lowering their asking price for Donovan McNabb.
Morning take: Timing is everything, and at the time Cleveland was looking for a quarterback Philly's price was too high. No point in looking back now.

  • The Pittsburgh Steelers visited with offensive linemen Mike Iupati and Maurkice Pouncey.
Morning take: Either player could be a good fit for the Steelers, who would probably like to snag both if it were possible.
Morning take: Saunders will get a bigger role this upcoming season, although it's to be determined how much additional influence he now has in the offense.
Morning take: Cincinnati has five preseason games this year. I'm not sure if that will be a good or bad thing.
