Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC North:
- Cornerback and return specialist Chris Carr will visit the Pittsburgh Steelers Wednesday.
Morning take: Carr would fill two needs for the Steelers. They definitely could use help in the return game, not to mention an additional corner to help in dime situations or in case of injury.
- It turns out Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, 33, signed a seven-year deal, not the three-year deal initially reported.
Morning take: Although it is a little confusing that the deal is for seven years, Lewis will probably play out 3-4 years of it before retiring a Raven.
- The Cleveland Browns made moves for two New York Jets, signing linebacker David Bowens and safety Abram Elam.
Morning take: Both of these moves are solid, albeit unspectacular signings. Look for more on the Browns' new players later today.
- New Seattle Seahawk and former Cincinnati Bengals receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh says friend Chad Ocho Cinco wants to be the next to leave.
Morning take: Houshmandzadeh is a straight shooter and provides more confirmation of what we already knew. I would be surprised if the Bengals don't at least explore the possibility of a trade.
