Browns' D'Qwell Jackson signs tender

Money talks. Especially when a team is threatening to take some away.

Despite unhappiness about getting a one-year tender, Cleveland Browns linebacker D'Qwell Jackson signed his Monday and is now under contract for the 2010 season. Here is the full report, courtesy of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Jackson and four other Browns restricted free agents have until midnight to sign their tenders or the team can significantly reduce their offers. Jackson was the first of what should be several signings in Cleveland before Monday night's deadline.

Other Browns restricted free agents who, as of Monday afternoon, have yet to sign contracts include running back Jerome Harrison, fullback Lawrence Vickers, safety Abram Elam and linebacker Matt Roth.
