CINCINNATI -- In the midst of Chad Ochocinco's return to the Bengals, we have some other news to pass along.
The Bengals have opened contract negotiations with cornerback Johnathan Joseph. The cornerback told the AFC North blog Tuesday the team sent his representation two proposals for an extension in the past week. Joseph is in the final year of his rookie deal.
