2006 Miami W, 28-17

2009 Tennessee ???

Perhaps the Baltimore Ravens were smart in not wanting to play the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field during their 2009 regular-season opener. If history is any indication, the Tennessee Titans could be headed for major trouble when they meet the Steelers on Sept. 10.

Recently the Steelers have been downright dominant in season openers. They are 6-0 since 2003 -- including a 5-0 mark at home -- and have outscored opponents by a score of 192-84.

Many of Pittsburgh's openers haven't been close. Tennessee was crushed, 34-7, in Pittsburgh to begin the 2005 season, and most recently the Steelers pounded the Houston Texans at home, 38-17, to begin their Super Bowl run last year.

Adding to the emotion for this upcoming opener will be a pregame Super Bowl presentation and a nationally televised broadcast in prime time. The "Terrible Towel" waving crowd will be extra hyper, and the Titans will have a lot to overcome beyond just playing football.
