More disrespect for Bengals

Although both teams made the playoffs last season, there seems to be a current disconnect between the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.

First, Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco threw buckets of cold water on Baltimore's immense offseason hype.

"They're not better than us," Ochocinco said. "The Ravens? I mean, what have they done?"

Now the Baltimore Sun weighs in on Cincinnati, predicting the Bengals will crash and burn to finish 7-9 this season. According to the Sun, the reigning AFC North champs will finish third in the division.

Ouch!
“The Bengals' late-season collapse -- four losses in their last five games -- is a cause for concern,” Ravens beat writer Jamison Hensley wrote this week. “This is a team that has trouble following up success.”

With both teams entering 2010 with very high expectations, it's possible that at least one of these teams will underachieve. Ochocinco says the Ravens will disappoint, while nearly everyone in Baltimore believes the Bengals can't duplicate last year's success.

What's your take? Who's right and who's wrong?
