Source: No extension for LaMarr Woodley

Pro Bowl outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley will not get a contract extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers before the start of the 2010 season, a source told the AFC North blog Monday.

Woodley, 25, is in the final year of his rookie deal and will earn $550,000 this season, making him one of the NFL's best bargains. He recorded 25 sacks the past two seasons for the Steelers.

With Pittsburgh's penchant for not negotiating contracts during the season, Woodley could become a free agent this March. Here is the full story on ESPN.com.
