Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC North:
- According to Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports, Cleveland Browns receiver Braylon Edwards will be traded to the New York Giants before the NFL draft.
Morning take: Of all the speculation surrounding the Browns, Cole's report seems the most convincing. Cleveland wants a king's ransom for Edwards, a former Pro Bowler, and it will be interesting to see if the Giants provide it.
- Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun writes the Ravens have three prime-time games in 2009.
Morning take: And one of them is at home, at night, against the Pittsburgh Steelers. No excuses.
- Meanwhile, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com notes Cincinnati has zero prime-time games.
Morning take: I wonder what Chad Ocho Cinco thinks about this?
- Backup quarterback Charlie Batch agrees to a one-year deal with the Steelers, according to ESPN.com's John Clayton.
Morning take: Batch has been good in this role for Pittsburgh before. The Steelers are hoping they can get one more year out of the wily veteran.
