Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC North:
  • Should rookie Terrence Cody's failed conditioning test be a major concern for the Baltimore Ravens?
Morning take: It's not the end of the world, but it's also not a good first impression. Cody lived up to his scouting report, as weight issues will be something Baltimore has to deal with.
  • The Pittsburgh Steelers will have to play the waiting game before finding out if quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's suspension will be reduced.
Morning take: The Steelers are preparing for six games, but in all likelihood it will be cut to four. Getting two extra games back could be huge if Pittsburgh wants to make a run.
Morning take: This was probably the best fit for Owens to find a contender in need of his services. Not to mention this will be one of the league's most entertaining teams.
Morning take: All eyes should be on quarterback Jake Delhomme. If he doesn't have a bounce-back season, the Browns have very little chance to compete in this division.
