Morning take: Ray Lewis' passion

August, 9, 2010
Here are the most interesting stories Monday in the AFC North:
  • Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis’ passion for football is what sets him apart.
Morning take: Before I covered the NFL, I thought most players had as much love and passion for the game as Lewis or Brett Favre. Come to find out, I was way off base.
Morning take: A late touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys ended the scoring drought, but overall it was a pretty poor performance for everyone involved on that side of the football.
Morning take: I'm sorry I missed it this year. That's always a personal favorite.
  • Josh Cribbs and Seneca Wallace are combining their talents to help make the Cleveland Browns' offense more dynamic.
Morning take: This could be a fun wrinkle to watch and see what Cleveland comes up with. Maybe it will spark the Browns' offense.
