Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC North:
- Will Pro Bowl defensive end/linebacker Terrell Suggs be absent from Baltimore Ravens' training camp?
Morning take: A lot can happen between now and training camp. But at the moment, without a long-term deal in place, anything is possible.
- Former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Larry Foote said his new club -- the Detroit Lions -- are in the same predicament as the New England Patriots as non-playoff teams.
Morning take: Technically, Foote is correct. But there is still a difference between 0-16 and 11-5.
- Cleveland Browns president Mike Keenan says it's the team's goal to win a Super Bowl in 2009.
Morning take: Technically, Cleveland is in the same boat as New England as well.
- Who is the odd receiver out with the Cincinnati Bengals?
Morning take: It's a crowded field competing for five or six roster spots. A veteran like Antonio Chatman needs to be particularly wary this summer of one of the young guns trying to take his place.
