Morning take: Rex Ryan wants Ed Reed

Here are the most interesting stories Thursday in the AFC North: Morning take: Credit Ryan for wanting the Ravens at full strength. But I find it strange Ryan believes Reed will play in Week 1, even if it meant Reed wasn't healthy enough to play the following games.
Morning take: Batch was never in the mix for the Steelers to begin with. Unless he gets playing time in the regular season, tonight could be the Homestead native's final game in Pittsburgh.
Morning take: That means the quarterback showdown in Cleveland will be Todd Collins versus Colt McCoy. Welcome to the final week of preseason football.
Morning take: The Bengals have depth, particularly at receiver, that will make for some tough decisions.
