Morning take: Chad Johnson hurting again

Here are the top storylines in the AFC North:
- Cincinnati Bengals star receiver Chad Johnson sprained his shoulder Sunday night in a 27-10 preseason loss to the Detroit Lions.
Morning take: The shoulder injury is not deemed serious. But with Johnson, 30, also coming off ankle surgery this summer, you wonder if Johnson's body is starting to show wear and tear for the first time in his career.
- The Pittsburgh Steelers signed 35-year-old defensive end Orpheus Roye to a one-year contract.
Morning take: If 30 is the new 20, Pittsburgh's defensive line will be unstoppable this season.
- The Baltimore Ravens are unsure which quarterback to start in the third preseason game.
Morning take: The Ravens are in a tough spot. Neither Kyle Boller nor Troy Smith have separated themselves enough to earn the start. But you can't give the kid (Joe Flacco) the ball in the most important preseason game of the year. It might be time for the old coin flip.
- The Cleveland Browns expect to face a stiff test tonight in an exhibition game against the New York Giants.
Morning take: Sit back, relax, and watch Browns left tackle Joe Thomas battle Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora for nearly two quarters. It might be the best preseason football you watch this summer.
