It's official: Bengals' Week 16 game 'flexed'

As predicted in our "Seven-step drop," the Cincinnati Bengals' Week 16 game against the San Diego Chargers was taken off prime-time television and moved up to 4:05 p.m. ET on Dec. 26.

The NFL and NBC television network took advantage of its flexible-scheduling option, the Bengals announced Monday. The replacement will be the game between the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles.

Cincinnati (2-11) is on an NFL-high 10-game losing streak and had its past two home games blacked out. The Bengals' contest against San Diego (7-6) also is in danger of a blackout, as tickets remain available for this game.
