Here are the most interesting storylines in the AFC North:
Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun writes the Ravens are re-considering rookie Joe Flacco as the starting quarterback for 2008.
Morning take: First, Flacco is out of the competition. Now, he's back in. Do the Ravens know the season starts Sept. 7? Time is running out.
Speaking of starting quarterbacks, the Cincinnati Bengals confirmed Carson Palmer broke his nose in Saturday's 13-0 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Morning take: At least he couldn't smell the stench coming from Paul Brown Stadium this weekend.
According to Ron Cook of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, defensive end Aaron Smith is the one player the Steelers can't do without.
Morning take: Without a doubt, Smith is important. But there are several more players this headline could've been used for, starting with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and safety Troy Polamalu.
Jarrett Bell of USA Today expects a big year out of Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Shaun Rogers.
Morning take: Check out Bell's exchange with Rogers about his weight. That alone makes this story a must-read.
