The Cincinnati Bengals' rebuilding effort is starting early.
Despite leading the team in receiving, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Bengals have no interest in bringing back outspoken receiver Terrell Owens in 2011. Cincinnati signed Owens to a one-year deal to help get the team back to the playoffs. Instead, the Bengals are one of the NFL's biggest disappointments at 3-11. Owens went on injured reserve Tuesday with a knee injury.
This is not a shocker considering Owens recently ripped Bengals coaches and ownership for the team's lack of success this year. Cincinnati also is in the process of determining how to handle key positions in the organization such as quarterback, running back and head coach.
