The AFC North blog brought in reinforcements to help for a tough Week 15 slate of games. But we still struggled and finished the weekend 1-2.

This week should be more successful. Here are our picks for Week 16 (all times are ET):

Carolina Panthers (2-12) at Pittsburgh Steelers (10-4), Thursday at 8:20 p.m.

Skinny: Even without Troy Polamalu, the Steelers bounce the Panthers and close in on the AFC North title.

Pick: Steelers, 23-7

Baltimore Ravens (10-4) at Cleveland Browns (5-9), Sunday at 1 p.m.

Skinny: The Browns continue their season-long trend of playing up to their competition. But it won't be enough against Baltimore.

Pick: Ravens, 17-10

San Diego Chargers (8-6) at Cincinnati Bengals (3-11), Sunday at 4:05 p.m.

Skinny: The Chargers are coming off 10 days of preparation and have too much to play for.

Pick: Chargers, 21-14

Last week: 1-2

Overall: 28-19

Comment: Quick reminder that we will have live updates and analysis tonight on the Steelers in the AFC North blog and AFC North Twitter page.
