Morning take: Confidence in Joe Flacco

Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC North:

Morning take: I think Flacco's early success has hurt his perception. No one jumps on draftmate Matt Ryan for failing to win one playoff game in three years. Yet everyone expects Flacco to lead the Ravens to the Super Bowl after winning four postseason games early.

  • Keep an eye on both centers in Sunday's AFC title game between the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Morning take: Nick Mangold and Maurkice Pouncey are two of the NFL's best centers, and both will be vital to decide which team controls the line of scrimmage.

Morning take: It's pretty much Carson Palmer and everyone else. He's coming off his second subpar season but the Bengals are expected to make him one of the NFL's highest-paid players in 2011.

Morning take: There have been conflicting reports on this. Zorn has quality experience, but he's already with a good team in Baltimore. So I don't know if Zorn would have interest in an offensive coordinator job where he cannot call the plays.
