AP names Troy Polamalu DPOY

Voters chose Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu as The Associated Press 2010 NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Polamalu finished the season with 63 tackles and seven interceptions, but his mere presence forced offenses to change strategies.

New York Jets receiver Santonio Holmes said Polamalu "is probably the greatest player I've ever played with or even seen play in person."
