The Cincinnati Bengals apparently are cleaning house with veterans today. According to Mark Curnutte of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the team also released longtime right tackle Willie Anderson Saturday.
Anderson told Curnutte the Bengals asked him to take a pay cut. He refused, presented a counteroffer, and Cincinnati ended up cutting Anderson.
The 13-year veteran lost his job to Stacy Andrews this offseason and joins tailback Rudi Johnson as the two of the biggest names to hit the waiver wire so far.
