Here are the most interesting stories Thursday in the AFC North: Morning take: Suggs (heel) sat out one full month to be exact. He missed so much time teammates were jokingly asking who’s the new guy in practice wearing No. 55?
Morning take: Unlike most teams, the Browns still have a lot of position battles to be decided. Whether quarterback is one of them is up for interpretation.
  • The New England Patriots worked out former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive guard Kendall Simmons.
Morning take: When Darnell Stapleton (knee) was put on injured reserve, I’m a little surprise Simmons didn’t at least get an exploratory call from Pittsburgh.
Morning take: With the economy down, it is no longer a given that NFL teams will sell out. Now you legitimately have to put a solid product on the field that fans can believe in.
