Here are the most interesting stories Tuesday in the AFC North:
Cleveland Browns left tackle Joe Thomas was ranked No. 43 on the NFL Network's survey of more than 400 players.
Morning take: After Ben Roethlisberger's No. 41 ranking and Thomas at No. 43, I'm seriously questioning the validity of these ratings. There will always be surprises on any list, but these are major whiffs.
The Cincinnati Bengals had 47 veterans and rookies turn out for workouts on Monday.
Morning take: That is a tremendous turnout for one team. The lockout likely will go into July and it's time for teams to do all it can to hit the ground running.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are listed as a 10-to-1 favorite to sign free-agent receiver Plaxico Burress
Morning take: I don't think the odds are even that high. The Steelers have more than enough receivers and don’t need to get older at the position.
The Baltimore Ravens could have competition at safety between Tom Zbikowski and Haruki Nakamura.
Morning take: Zbikowski is the favorite entering training camp but Nakamura will not roll over. Either way Baltimore will have depth at the position.
