Was M&T Bank Stadium snubbed?

Heinz Field was the only AFC North venue to make the cut in ESPN.com's Power Rankings for NFL stadiums. The home of the Pittsburgh Steelers was rated the No. 2 stadium this week.

The criteria was to vote for the toughest venues for opposing teams. So what about M&T Bank Stadium?

I voted the home of the Baltimore Ravens No. 8. It's a loud and raucous environment, and it's one of the few stadiums in which the crowd cheers its defense more than its offense. Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis gets the crowd hyped early with his pregame dance that I like to call the "Ray Lew."

I talked to two veteran NFL players last week about stadiums, and both mentioned M&T Bank as one of the toughest venues to play. The Ravens were 7-1 at home last season and 13-3 the past two years. Still, M&T Bank Stadium was ranked No. 13 and received only four votes from our panel.
